Insolia 70%, Chardonnay 30%

Angimbé refers to the woods close to the vineyard where our Insolia and Chardonnay grow, giving the grapes for this wine. There’s the Mediterranean bush, the wind and the altitude, giving freshness and elegant aromas to the grapes, there’s Insolia which here develops the acidity, elegance and minerals of a mountain white wine, and Chardonnay adding roundness.

Benuara 2021 Tenuta Presti e Pegni

Syrah 80%, Nero d'Avola 20%

This blend unites the complex character of Syrah with the Sicilian power of Nero d’Avola. At Tenuta Presti e Pegni, the sun shines from dawn to dusk guaranteeing a perfect ripening of the grapes. We hand harvest the grapes, starting with Syrah in late August, and then Nero d’Avola in late September.

Shamaris is our Grillo. A Grillo wine from Monte Pietroso, on sandy soil. The sea is not too far away, the name indeed refers to it – mare means sea in Italian. It’s the wind from the north, which often blows here, that brings the sea. The altitude of 400 metres above the sea level results in a different Grillo, more complex and elegant.
